Mountain Hut Susje

General

This mountain hut is located 8 km from the village of Ljubno on the remote grounds of an abandoned farm at an altitude of about 800 meters in the Southern Alps. The hut is comfortably furnished by the owner and is equipped with electricity and running water despite its remote location. On the terrace there is a jacuzi which is permanently supplied with fresh mountain water.

The deck chairs on the terrace guarantee a healthy tan at the end of your stay, the sun shines here all day. The ground floor consists of living-dining room and open kitchen. On the upper floor are the bedroom, bathroom and toilet. In the living room there is a dining area and a sofa. Facilities in the kitchen include a refrigerator, stove, coffee machine and all attributes to prepare a meal.

On the terrace you will find two fine tanning beds an outdoor seating area and the mini pool where you can cool off after a beneficial sunbath. Here is also the barbecue and terrace table. From this terrace you have a fantastic view over the valley below. On the grounds there is also a small private museum of old utensils that the owner has collected over the years. Pet is welcome.

The ideal place to really relax and temporarily leave all worries behind.

Surroundings

The cabin is located in the Savinja valley and is an ideal place for extensive mountain walks. To replenish your kitchen supplies you must go to the village of Ljubno. There you will find several restaurants and a pizzeria. Also the butcher and the baker can be found in this village. For the larger supermarket you need to go to the town of Mozirje.

A little further down the Savinja valley you will find the national park Logarska-Dolina and the most beautiful part of the valley Robanof-Kot with the white river that only after wintertime drains the melt water.
