This new vacation home is furnished in a modern and rural style. The large balcony and terrace gives the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view and which always offers a possibility to sit in the sun or shade. The first floor is private and therefore closed. On the second floor is the living room with open kitchen and a toilet.

Through the kitchen door you go outside to the next floor where there is a spacious bedroom and an equally spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. This house is suitable for 2 persons.

Surroundings

The village of Gradenc consists of only a little over 20 houses and about 60 inhabitants. The people are friendly and most speak a word of English, especially the youth. You can make lovely walks along the fields and through the woods. For those in good shape, cycling is also a possibility. There is a lot of wildlife in the area so the chances of spotting deer, foxes, weasels, badgers and birds of prey are very high.

Even bears and wolves are occasionally seen. Žužemberk is 5 kilometers away and there you will find all the necessities such as 2 supermarkets, bakery, post office, restaurant, pizzeria, even a self- service gas station, doctor and dentist. The biggest eye catchers are the castle and the river Krka where you can swim, canoe, go rafting or fly fishing.

From Gradenc it is a nice walk of a good hour, on the road or through the forest.

Location

Gradenc is located in Dolenjska province, 5 km from Žužemberk. Novo mesto is the nearest city almost 30km away and is about a half hour drive. Here you can store to your heart's content. The pleasant and beautiful capital Ljubljana is 55km away. Croatia is not far either. In an hour and a half driving you are in Zagreb and in less than two hours you are at the Adriatic Sea.
